配合第四届全球健康城市联盟大会，于十月26-29日，在韩国首尔江南區（Gangnam-gu）举行，而举办的“健康城市”摄影比赛，已经开始公开招收摄影作品，高达1千800万韩元（约五万令吉）的奖金待赢取。
招收比赛作品的日期是从八月15日开始至31的，每位参赛者只能交五分作品，并通过大会网站上载（UPLOAD）作品，报名是免费的。
据南市市长曾长青表示，健康城市联盟在全世界共有百多个会员城市，而古晋很荣幸的是其中一个健康城市联盟的成员，也是马来西亚唯一的健康城市。
因此，他很希望本地的摄影师，能够发挥创意，拍摄古晋健康城市的面貌，并参与这项比赛，希望有机会得奖，将全世界都认识古晋这个城市。

In commemoration of the 4^th Global Conference of the Alliance for Healthy Cities, held in 26-29 October

2010, in Gangnam-gu, Republic of Korea, Gangnam-gu is hosting a global contest with a total of 18 million

Korean Won in prize for excellent photographs illustrating various images of healthy cities in different parts of the world. We call for photography lovers, who are residents of member cities of the Alliance for Healthy Cities to participate in this contest, to promote mutual understanding of lifestyles and cultures in healthy cities throughout the Alliance.

砂拉越影艺协会将于八月五日，晚上七时正，假皇冠办公大楼第九楼，
举办一项沙龙摄影讲座，以及英国皇家摄影学会学士之摄影作品分享会。

砂拉越影艺协会这次特地邀请了两名，分别来自吉隆坡和马六甲的著名摄影师，
他们是张毅全(Steve Chong)和王钲权(Heng Ching Chuan)来主持该讲座会，欢迎所有对摄影爱好有兴趣的人士参与。
